Case of the week 3

This week's case is a non-contrast CT of the head in an 81 year old female with left-sided weakness and slurred speech.

The left image shows an axial image at the level of the midbrain using a typical head window, whereas the right image is more superior at the level of the thalamus using a stroke window.
